THE RIGHT RESPONSE TO COPTIC 21'S MARTYRDOM Exclusive: Joel Richardson urges Christians to imitate Jesus, 'stand firm to the end' |
The prophecy in the Bible:
When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. They cried out with a loud voice, "O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been. (Revelation 6:9-11, ESV)
Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:4, ESV)

The video captures this brother below praying moments before his death. His final words were, "Ya Rab Yesua," or in English, "Yea, Lord Jesus."
