It's the day before the final "Blood Moon." Can you believe it? Like many of you, I have been watching these total lunar eclipses take place for a year and half now. (Tweet that!))

I actually learned about this series of four total lunar eclipses occurring on the first and the last of the 7 Feasts of the LORD two years in a row way back in 2008. So for the final one to be coming tomorrow evening is pretty spectacular to me. (Tweet that!)

For those of you who feel fearful, please do not let your hearts be trouble. (Tweet that!) If you know the Lord Jesus Christ, He WILL take care of those who belong to Him. I have to take an unexpected business trip this weekend so I won't be home. This means I won't be able to be as active on the Facebook event as I had hoped to be. I was, however, able to schedule my return trip for Sunday afternoon, so barring any unforeseen circumstances, I will be home to view this final Blood Moon with my family from my own porch … which pleases me to no end! So I will do my best to be active on the Facebook Event during the eclipse Sunday evening.

What Causes the Moon to Turn Red? - Looking Forward to the Fourth Blood Moon Sunday Evening September 27th

Some people think the moon turning red to fulfill the Bible prophecies of "Blood Moons" requires God to do something supernatural to create that red moon. I don't think so. (Tweet that!)

I don't see any reason why the "Blood Moons" in prophesy can't be naturally occurring red moons. (Tweet that!) All that would take is foreknowledge of when the prophecies would be fulfilled on the earth and perfect timing to make the naturally occurring red moons appear at the right time. Both of which the God of creation and eternity is perfectly capable of. (Tweet that!)

So that brings the question: What in nature can cause the moon to turn red? (Tweet that!) We explored those four naturally occurring reasons in this Saturday, April 12, 2014, post:

Follow Up on The Shemitah with Rabbi Jonathan Cahn (Video Post)

A friend shared this video with me and I thought it was a great follow up to the Shemitah. This is Sid Roth's show, "It's Supernatural." His guest for the show is Messianic Rabbi  Johnathan Cahn, author of the The Mystery of the Shemitah.

I thought it was a great conversation and recap of the information we've been exploring here on the blog for the past year regarding the Shemitah. Of course there is a lot more new information, including info on the Jubilee year. (Tweet that!)

I was amazed to hear Jonathan Cahn talking about our future, these coming next few years, and the schedule of the End Times. (Tweet that!)

Whether you've been following this blog for a year or longer, or whether this is all new to you, I think you'll enjoy this video very much. (Tweet that!) There's review and recap for those who have followed these things. There's explanation and teaching for those for whom the Shemitah, Jubilee, and all of this is brand new. Plus there's new information as well. (Tweet that!)

This video is rather long -- it runs 1 hour and 16 minutes. But I'll tell you, the time went by fast! Because it's so interesting. You can probably end after the first hour and not miss much. There's a lot of content in the final 15 minutes that makes me uneasy and I don't really subscribe to.

(Disclaimer: While I'm posting this on my blog, that does not mean I agree with everything Sid Roth teaches, for example that everyone should pray in tongues and, while I do believe God can heal anyone, I think it can be dangerous to imply people will be healed by certain people or by, for example, holding a certain book. I'll leave those parts to your discernment.)

4th Blood Moon Is On Sunday September 27th (NOT September 28th)!

NOTE! The final total lunar eclipse is actually on
SUNDAY, September 27!

With the Shemitah year and final day now behind us, it's time to turn our attention to the fourth and final (of this tetrad) "Blood Moon" coming in less than two weeks -- in the early evening hours, just after sundown, on Sunday, September 27, 2015. (Tweet that!)

Don't miss this fourth "Blood Moon"! Again, it's the evening of September 27^th! Yes, it's Sunday evening here in the United States, NOT Monday the 28^th! (Tweet that!) 

We've been talking for a year and a half about the fourth total lunar eclipse that will fall on a major annual Jewish holiday, Sukkot, which is the 7^th of the seven annual Jewish holy days. The date given everywhere, including here on my blog, has been September 28, 2015, which is Monday. But here in the western hemisphere, this lunar eclipse will actually take place on Sunday evening, September 27^th. (Tweet that!) 

Why the discrepancy? Remember that on the Jewish calendar, a day runs from sunset to sunset. So Sukkot (on our calendars as September 28^th), actually starts at sundown on Sunday, September 27^th. (Tweet that!) 

Also, the solar and lunar eclipses forecast on web sites such as TimeAndDate.com use UTC: Coordinated Universal Time. UTC is a time standard all of the world's timing centers have agreed to synchronize to. (Tweet that!) 

Many of us learned about Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) (also known as Zulu time) which is sort of similar but not really the same. (GMT is now a Time Zone.) You can learn more about it here:

All this means that this fourth total lunar eclipse is said to be on September 28 because that is on UTC time.

BUT HERE IN THE UNITED STATES this fourth Total Lunar Eclipse will be after sunset on Sunday, September 27^th!
