Muslims Gather for Hajj at Mecca, Saudia Arabia
Millions of Muslims embarked on the Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca every Muslim male who is able is required to do at least once in their lives. (Tweet that!) Unfortunately there were two tragedies during this Hajj: A crane fell into a crowd killing over 100 people on September 12, 2015. Then on September 24th many Muslim pilgrims stampeded, killing hundreds. At first the dead counted beyond 700. Yesterday news reports said the number dead in the human stampede at the Muslim Hajj climbed to over 1,100.
Jews Gather for Yom Kippur in Jerusalem, Israel

Catholic Christians Gather as Pope Francis Visits the United States
Then Pope Francis left Cuba and arrived in the United States on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. He was welcomed by President Barack Obama in Washington D.C. on Wednesday September 23rd. Hundreds of thousands of Catholics turned out to see him as he visited Washington, New York, and Philadelphia, leaving to return to Rome on Sunday, September 27th, just hours before the fourth Blood Moon (of this tetrad) occurred just after sunset that evening.
