Another "Blood Moon" Total Lunar Eclipse Took Place Last Night for Purim (Video Post)

Lance Wallnau image from Youtube
Another "Blood Moon" total lunar eclipse took place last night. We are currently in the midst of the Jewish holy days of Purim. (Tweet that!)

It looks like the total lunar eclipse was visible mostly over Europe and Africa, not here in the United States.

I've been watching the beautiful full moon the last few days and thinking of the four eclipses the last two years, but this eclipse was news to me. (Tweet that!) A friend sent me this video. It's from Lance Wallnau, whom I had not heard of before, but you can bet I'll be looking into him.

This video runs about 23 minutes. (Warning and disclaimer: about the last 3 minutes are advertising for his training and trips. I'm not endorsing that.)

Purim is the remembrance and celebration of how God saved the Jewish people from the evil plot of Haman told in the Bible's book of Esther. Purim is not one of the 7 Feasts of the LORD (which my newest e-book teaches about) which were instituted in the time of Moses, but is an additional holiday instituted in the time of Esther and Mordecai (much like Hanukkah was given in the "time between the Testaments" during the time of the Maccabees.)

Here is a new site I found with information on coming lunar eclipses:

My thanks to Angela for alerting me to this "Blood Moon" total lunar eclipse on Purim and sending the video!!

(Update 6/10/20: Video no longer available.)

Need Courage for Our Time? Hold On! Have "Holy Chutzpa" says Jonathan Cahn (Video)

Jonathan Cahn on the The Jim Bakker Show
Remember the story of Ruth in the Old Testament book of the Bible by the same name? When Naomi's two son's died leaving both their young wives widowed, and Naomi chose to return to Israel, both daughters-in-law went with her for a ways. But then Orpah turned back. But Ruth clung to Naomi, went to Israel with her, and was blessed by God for her decision.

Jonathan Cahn says that's the kind of "clinging for the blessing" we need today for our times. (Tweet that!)

Remember the gentile woman in Matthew 15:21-28 who ask Jesus to deliver her daughter and Jesus first told her he came to the Jews? Remember how she asked again and then he helped her? That's how we're supposed to hang on, how we're supposed to keep asking and seeking Jesus. (Tweet that!)

No matter what you see happening in this world, hold on to the one true God -- the Lord Jesus Christ. For the blessing. For the answer. (Tweet that!)

Persevere clear to the end. The Lord Jesus will help us. This is what we're supposed to do. This is strengthening our faith.

Do you have holy chutzpa? We need to. We are supposed to. Jonathan Cahn reminds us God will honor it. (Tweet that!)

I love this encouraging, inspiring message! Listen to it here:     (Tweet that!)

On-Going Effects of the Shemitah from Michael Snyder (Video)

Michael Snyder on The Jim Bakker Show
I found another video with more conversation about the on-going effects of the Shemitah. (Tweet that!)

Again this comes from The Jim Bakker Show. (I'm really enjoying the fascinating guests and topics he brings on his show. I hope you are too.)

In this video legal and financial expert Michael Snyder gives a lot of information about banks and companies that are now labeled "too big to fail," a snarky or sarcastic label that came about following the U.S. government's financial bailout of super-large companies,.

As Michael Snyder reminds us, Jonathan Cahn never said to watch only one day -- the day of the Shemitah. Michael Snyder explains in previous Shemitahs some effects happened 30 days later or more, which we are at now following the most recent Shemitah. (Tweet that!)

According to Snyder, "Too-big-to-fail banks are going to start coming apart." (Tweet that!)

It's more complicated than I can explain, so please take a few minutes to watch the video and learn more:

Reasons to Believe We Are Living the Bible's Most Prophetic Times in History with Jonathan Cahn (Video)

Jonathan Cahn on The Jim Bakker Show
Again today we are going to listen a video from The Jim Bakker Show as Jonathan Cahn talks about where we are living right now in history. He is giving reasons we can believe and know we are living in the Bible's most prophetic times ever in the history of the world. "Most prophetic times" means we are witnessing the culmination of all the Bible's prophecies coming to pass.

OMG. There is so much information in this video you will just have to watch it for yourself. It runs a little longer, at 9:30 minutes. But it's so good and is so filled with history and information I'm sure you'll want to schedule time to watch it.

Here are some highlights if you like to read, or if you prefer video just scroll down and watch it for yourself.

So what is happening right now? We are living currently right now today in a Jubilee year. Jonathan Cahn says a Jubilee year is a "super Shemitah" -- it only comes every seven Shemitahs, while Shemitahs themselves only come every seven years.

What happens in a Jubilee year?

Whatever you lost you get back. Lost your home? You get it back. Lost possessions? You get them back. Are you Jewish and you lost your family's ancestral land in Israel? You get it back. This is the instructions God gave to Israel. It is a mass restoration.

Could this scheduling of the Shemitah tell us when the End Times events will play out? Jonathan Cahn says yes and explains why. (Tweet that!) Here's just a taste of what's in the video:

The year 1917  was a year of shaking -- all over the earth. The Jewish people had not been in the land of Israel since before the time of Jesus. World War 1 is on the horizon.

Then Jonathan Cahn relates the amazing story of General Allensby and why the Islamists retreated at the sound of his name!

Also in 1917, a boy was born. His family moves to Jerusalem because of the Jubilee. He grows up and becomes the head Rabbi Shomo Goren.

Fifty years later comes the second Jubilee - 1967. Mr. Cahn tells the miraculous story and timing of the Six Day War in Israel. Rabbi Shomo Goren is now 50. It's his Jubilee. It's Israel's Jubilee. As Israel takes back the city and enters Jerusalem through the Lion's Gate, Rabbi Goren blows the shofar and it is echoed throughout the land. The shofar much be blown in a Jubilee year. There so much more to this story in the video!

Now, today, it's another 50 years later and we are in another Jubilee year. And you don't think things are going to happen?! (Tweet that!)

OMG again. There is so much information in this video you just HAVE to watch it! Very interesting history of Israel and true stories you did not know!

Americans will also be interested in how the Liberty Bell and the Bible verse from Leviticus 25:10 engraved on that bell matches this story. (Tweet that!)
And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, when each of you shall return to his property and each of you shall return to his clan. (Leviticus 25:10)

"The Most Important Prophetic Time in History?"
Jonathan Cahn on The Jim Bakker Show
Posted Oct. 30, 2015
Run time: 9:30

I've always said something important will happen in Israel in 2018. (Tweet that!) I believe that because the Bible determines a "generation" to be 70 years (Psalm 90:10), although obviously some individuals can live longer. Jesus' prophecy says "this generation will not pass away until all these things take place" (Matthew 24:34). Israel was re-born (back in the land) in 1948. Seventy years, or a generation, later is 2018. That generation (70 years) the youngest of which were born in 1948 shall not all pass away means all these things have to happen before that generation passes away -- which, if a Biblical generation is 70 years, will pass away in 2018.

I agree with Jonathan Cahn and Jim Bakker. We have so many reasons to believe we are living in the most prophetic times of human history. (Tweet that!) We are literally seeing the Bible's prophecies coming true and more prophecies setting up to come true.

Faith-Based Organizations Forced to Go Against Their Christian Faith with Jonathan Cahn (Video)

Jonathan Cahn on The Jim Bakker Show
"California Gov. Jerry Brown has signed a bill that orders faith-based organizations to refer women to abortionists," according to the WND.com article "California Forces Christians to Disobey Own Beliefs" dated 10/12/2015.

Jim Bakker recently talked about that with Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn on The Jim Bakker Show. The video below shares a couple minutes of that conversation.

Jonathan Cahn talks about our nation racing toward apostasy, which means a "falling away" from the Christian faith. Apostasy is also an End Times prophecy in the Bible. (Tweet that!) At the same time, he says, Christians are being targeted more and more, with evil trying to force Christians to take part in abomination. (Tweet that!)

Jonathan Cahn relates what we are seeing in our day to the early church which the Roman government tried to force to take part in abomination.

Evil is trying to force us, as Christians, to bow down to it. (Tweet that!)

A quote from Jonathan Cahn in this video:

Evil...says we going to force you to do our will... We are not going to be content until Christians are forced to blaspheme their God... And every Christian is going to be tested in this time. This is another sign...
We've never seen this before. It is not business as usual. We've never seen this before.

Sweden: Lesbian Bishop of Stockholm Proposes Removing Christian Crosses, Installing Pointers to Mecca (Video)

Eva Brunne, lesbian Bishop in
Church of Sweden
Image from YouTube.com
In Sweden, a lesbian Bishop in the Church of Sweden proposed removing Christian crosses and installing pointers to Mecca for Muslims who would like to come into the church and pray. (Tweet that!) If the fact that the Church made a homosexual woman a Bishop didn't give the Church of Sweden something to pause and think about, why would it have it problem with her proposal?

This is the infiltration of what appears to have been a Christian church by those who are not Christian. Any church with a homosexual in leadership is not a Christian church. (Tweet that!) If that church claims to be Christian, it is a false church led by false prophets and false pastors and false priests. (Tweet that!)

Thankfully, this lesbian woman who is married to another woman and who has a son, does not have authority over the Seamen's mission church. An October 5, 2015 article on Breitbart.com titled "World's First Lesbian Bishop Calls for Church to Remove Crosses, to Install Muslim Prayer Space" said this:
As an independent mission the church operates outside of the diocese, and so the bishop has no authority there, a fact reflected by the response of the church director who said the bishop's words were her business alone.
When asked whether she would be removing the cross from her church, Kiki Wetterberg responded: "I have no problem with Muslim or Hindu sailors coming here and praying. But I believe that we are a Christian church, so we keep the symbols. If I visit a mosque I do not ask them to take down their symbols. It's my choice to go in there".

A YouTube video from a channel called "End Times News Ministry" shares proper indignation in this short video:

"Swedish Lesbian Bishop Rejects the Cross and Points to Mecca (Eva Brunne)"
Runs 3:24

This is what the Bible says. The word "sanctified" means "set apart" for the true God.
Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men [also includes women having sex with women] nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified [set apart], you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.  1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Like Christians, the Christian church is set apart for the one true God. Allowing other religions -- and those devoted to homosexuality and spreading it can be considered religious but not Christian, like this lesbian Bishop of Sweden's Stockholm church -- to come in corrupts the purity of the Christian church and cannot be tolerated.

The 266th Pope Meets with America's President on 266th Day - What Does It Mean?

Image: Religion News Service, ReligionNews.com
On September 23, 2015, the 266th Pope met with President Barack Obama. That date was the 266th day of the year. Is this significant? (Tweet that!)

Amazingly, 266 days is also the length of human gestation. Is something giving birth? Many people are asking that question. (Tweet that!)

Listen now to the first one minute of this video. This is the same video we've listened to portions of the past two posts. I just divided it into the three different topics Jim Bakker and his guests talked about in this short video so we could discuss it further. If you listen past one minute, you'll hear the same videos shared in the last two posts.

Pope's Visit to United Nations Launches Summit Adopting Agenda 2030 - What Is Agenda 2030?

Image: Religion News Service, ReligionNews.com
In my previous post we viewed part of a video from the Jim Bakker Show that mentioned Agenda 2030. In fact the video is called "What Is Agenda 2030 and How Will It Affect You?" however there's really only about one minute in which Jim Bakker and his guests discuss Agenda 2030. Still, I think it's worth watching.

The minute they discuss Agenda 2030 is the one minute directly in front of what we watched yesterday. The video linked below will start at the point where the discussion turns to Agenda 2030. If you watch longer than a minute, you'll see the part of the video that was included in the previous post.

On September 25 - 27, the United Nations held a conference announcing the "New Universal Agenda for Humanity." (Tweet that!)

The previous Agenda 21 was about climate change, global warming, and protecting the earth. Agenda 2030 is the next generation of that plan. No longer about the environment, this agenda deals with economics, agriculture, education, gender equality, and more. (Tweet that!) Virtually all member nations of the United Nations are signing onto this.

The participants in the United Nations are saying they are going to fundamentally transform the world by the year 2030. (Tweet that!)

"Fundamentally transform." Doesn't that sound familiar? When then-candidate Barack Obama was running for President of the United States, many of us remember him saying he was going to "fundamentally transform" America. And he has. (Tweet that!)

Now it's going global. (As if it hasn't been...)

According to speaker in the video, Michael Snyder, this is a template for global governance. Those of us familiar with End Times Bible prophecy know that Bible prophecies state there will be one, and only one, world government. That's why this is so important in light of Bible prophecy.

With the Pope announcing this U.N. Agenda 2030, he is standing with it and giving his blessing to it.

There is more in this portion of the video:

Two Strange Signs Took Place in Last Days of Shemitah: on September 10 in New York and September 11 in Mecca (Video)

I just found this video, which was posted September 24, 2015, which is after the Shemitah. It has some quotes from a September 12, 2015, article WND.com did with author and Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn which were posted that same day, according to the video from the Jim Bakker Show.

The article is "'STRANGE SIGNS' ON SHEMITAH'S FINAL DAYS" (9/12/15) on WND.com.

Jonathan Cahn related two events that occurred on September 10 and 11, 2015. (Tweet that!) I did not know about either until now but I find them very interesting.

I'm actually linking to only part of this video (the second part) because there are numerous topics discussed in this short video and I'd rather separate them out and discuss them one at a time. So I'll share a link to more of the video in my next post.

For today, check out these two amazing events that happened on different sides of the world in the final days of the Shemitah year, on September 11th this year: one in Mecca, Saudia Arabia, the other in New York City, USA.
  • a storm in New York on September 10 brings a rainbow over One World Trade Center / Freedom Tower
  • a storm in Saudi Arabia causes a collapse of the central Mosque in Mecca on September 11
(Tweet that!)

Then listen to the interesting interpretation Johnathan Cahn gives to these events.

Ten Commandments Monument Removed from Oklahoma Capitol in the Dark of Night (Videos)

Monday, Oct. 5, 2015.
Image from TheBlaze.com
Late on Monday, October 5, 2015, a crew paid by the state of Oklahoma came in cover of darkness and removed the 4,800 pound monument of the Ten Commandments from the Oklahoma Capitol grounds. (Tweet that!)

A spokesman said the next day that "the decision to remove the monument in the dark was made to avoid disturbing workers at the Oklahoma Capitol, while heavy equipment was being used to detach the statue, and to avoid protesters," according to a WashingtonPost.com article. (Tweet that!)

The article also says that "at least two dozen [Oklahoma State] troopers were present, while maybe five or six residents showed up." (Tweet that!)

The next day, "Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin launched a campaign Tuesday to restore a monument to the Ten Commandments that was removed from the state capitol overnight under a court order," said an NBCNews.com article. (Tweet that!)

Of all the articles online I reviewed to write this post, the WashingtonPost.com article was the only one that called the Ten Commandments monument "controversial."

For the Antichrist to take over the world and fulfill Bible prophecies, first Christianity and all remnants of it and of God's Word, such as the good commands engraved on this monument, must be destroyed, made powerless, or otherwise removed from society. (Tweet that!)

Follow Up on The Shemitah with Rabbi Jonathan Cahn (Video Post)

Rabbi Jonathan on set with host Sid Roth

A friend shared this video with me and I thought it was a great follow up to the Shemitah. This is Sid Roth's show, "It's Supernatural." His guest for the show is Messianic Rabbi  Johnathan Cahn, author of the The Mystery of the Shemitah.

I thought it was a great conversation and recap of the information we've been exploring here on the blog for the past year regarding the Shemitah. Of course there is a lot more new information, including info on the Jubilee year. (Tweet that!)

I was amazed to hear Jonathan Cahn talking about our future, these coming next few years, and the schedule of the End Times. (Tweet that!)

Whether you've been following this blog for a year or longer, or whether this is all new to you, I think you'll enjoy this video very much. (Tweet that!) There's review and recap for those who have followed these things. There's explanation and teaching for those for whom the Shemitah, Jubilee, and all of this is brand new. Plus there's new information as well. (Tweet that!)

This video is rather long -- it runs 1 hour and 16 minutes. But I'll tell you, the time went by fast! Because it's so interesting. You can probably end after the first hour and not miss much. There's a lot of content in the final 15 minutes that makes me uneasy and I don't really subscribe to.

(Disclaimer: While I'm posting this on my blog, that does not mean I agree with everything Sid Roth teaches, for example that everyone should pray in tongues and, while I do believe God can heal anyone, I think it can be dangerous to imply people will be healed by certain people or by, for example, holding a certain book. I'll leave those parts to your discernment.)

This video was recorded before the Shemitah and was posted on YouTube on September 4, 2015.

Christmas Advent Day 12: What Does It Mean that Joseph and Mary "Presented" Jesus to the LORD? (Video Post)

In Luke 2:22-23 the Bible tells us:

22 When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord 23 (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, "Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord").

Sometimes I think when we read unfamiliar ideas in the Bible we just kind of read over them without much thought because we don't know what they mean or we don't know if they are important or why they are important. I think this is one of those pieces of information. (Tweet that!)

When the Bible says Joseph and Mary took Jesus to Jerusalem to "present him to the Lord," do you know what that means? (Tweet that!) Do you understand what it is referring to?

You can learn what this means and why it was important in today's video. (Tweet that!)

These are the Bible verses I reference in this video, the first one with more context around these verses:

Christmas Advent Day 11: "What was Mary's 'Purification' About?" (Video Post)

In the previous post we talked about the circumcision of Jesus, and why that was important enough to list it in Scripture (that is, the Bible).

Today, we look at something else in that same Bible passage that is similar in that we often read over it and wonder what it means and why it's important. In this passage Luke also tells us that while Mary and Joseph were at the Temple in Jerusalem, they also performed the "purification" ceremony required for Mary. Now what is this all about? (Tweet that!)

Find out in today's video.

Here are the Scripture verses I reference in the video today. On the video I'm reading from the older New International Version, so the words don't exactly match this translation linked here, but it means the same thing.

"What was Mary's 'Purification' About?"
Christmas Story vlog
with Dianne E. Butts - 11 of 12

Here is a thought I had that I didn't include in my video: It is not sinful to get pregnant or to give birth, so why do women need to be purified? I don't know if this is the answer to that question, but my mind connects the verse in Psalm 51:5 where King David wrote "in sin did my mother conceive me." This does not mean David's mother did anything wrong in conceiving him. (Tweet that!) It refers to the fact that every one of us are sinful from birth. It's in our nature. We're born with it. Maybe that has something to do with why God gave Moses the regulation that women must be purified after childbirth. However as I said in the video, I don't really know and I haven't found anything that shows anyone else understands this either.

Christmas Advent Day 10: Cut Away Flesh for an Intimate Relationship with God (Video Post)

Remember when the angel, Gabriel, came and talked to Mary and told her that she would have a son? Remember when Gabriel told Mary exactly what to name her Son?

Gabriel told Mary to name him Jesus.

So after Jesus was born, Mary and Joseph took Jesus to the Temple to officially name Him.

That's not all they did there. If you've read the Christmas story in the Bible, you may have read the part in Luke 2 where Mary and Joseph had Jesus circumcised. (Tweet that!)

Now why in the world is that in the Bible? And in our so-far nice little Christmas story! (Tweet that!)

It's because if a Jewish male did not have his foreskin cut off, then he was to be cut off from God. Why is circumcision important to God? Because it is symbolic of something much greater that each of us needs to take care of in order to have an intimate relationship with God.  (Tweet that!)

Find out more in this video.

Scripture verses I used in today's video are:

"Cut Away Flesh for an Intimate Relationship with God"

Mary and Joseph faithfully helped the infant Jesus keep the Law of God right from the start. (Tweet that!)

Have you taken steps to "cut off" (spiritually, figuratively!) your sinful flesh so that you can have an intimate relationship with God? If not, why not do so today? This is not a physical act and no physical cutting needs to be done. This image is symbolic of spiritually removing our sinful flesh to come into a beautiful spiritual relationship with God.

Christmas Advent Day 9: The Prophetic Meanings of the Gifts of the Magi (Video Post)

Did you know that the gifts the Wise Men gave to the baby Jesus were not just randomly picked, but had special meaning? (Tweet that!)

These gifts were picked especially for Jesus. Well, obviously. But they had meaning for his life. Where He was headed as a man. And what He would do while here on earth. (Tweet that!)

The three gifts of the Magi predicted the future. (Tweet that!)

In other words, the Wise Men's gifts were prophetic. The gifts themselves were prophecies. (Tweet that!)

You probably know the three gifts were

  • Gold
  • Frankincense
  • Myrrh

But what did each of the gifts mean? (Tweet that!) We'll talk about it in today's video.

Christmas Advent Day 8: What Was That Unusual Star of Bethlehem? (Video Post)

Hanukkah begins today, and I wish all those who celebrate it a very happy Hanukkah!

What exactly was the Star of Bethlehem?

There's some interesting research about that, and it's dependent on the answer to this question: When did Herod the Great die? (Tweet that!)

I talk about that in today's video.

Here are some more tidbits from today's video. Did you know...?

  • The planet Jupiter is named after the greatest god of Roman mythology. (Tweet that!)
  • Jupiter is known as the King Planet. (Tweet that!)
  • The star Regulus takes its name from the word we get our word "regal" from.
  • The Babylonians call Regulus Sharu, which means "king." (Tweet that!)

Christmas Advent Day 7: Trivia! Who Gave the Prophecy of the Star of Bethlehem? (Video Post)

You've heard there was a prophecy given centuries before Jesus was born that there would be a special star in the sky that pointed to Messiah. (Tweet that!)

You may even know where in the Bible that prophecy is found. (Ask that in a Tweet!)

Christmas trivia question: Who was it who spoke that prophecy? (Tweet that!)

The answer may surprise you! I'll share the answer in today's video.

Christmas Advent Day 6: A Prophecy Given And 700+ Years Later It's Fulfilled! (Video Post)

Did you know that one of the most popular Bible verses we hear at Christmastime isn't in the Christmas Bible story at all, but was written more than 700 years before Jesus was born? (Tweet that!)

Yes, it refers to Him. It was a prophecy given by Isaiah and fulfilled perfectly more than 700 years later! (Tweet that!)

In the previous post we talked about why Gabriel, the angel God sent, announced the birth of Jesus, the Christ, to the group of shepherd who were on the hills near Bethlehem.

Today, let's take a closer look at the message Gabriel gave those shepherds.

The angel told the shepherds about a child that had been born that very evening in Bethlehem. (Tweet that!)

This was the same child that the prophet Isaiah spoke of 700+ years earlier when he prophesied that both a child would be born and a Son given. (Tweet that!)

Bible verses I refer in today's video are:

Christmas Advent Day 5: The Bethlehem Shepherds and the Temple Sheep (Video Post)

I'm sure you remember the part of the Bible Christmas story where the angel, Gabriel, appeared to the shepherds tending their sheep on the hills near Bethlehem. (Tweet this!)

But have you ever thought about why shepherds were keeping their sheep on the hills near Bethlehem? (Tweet that!)

And why, of all the shepherds tending sheep in all of Israel, would Gabriel have come to those shepherds, the ones near Bethlehem? (Tweet that!)

I think there's a clue, if you think about what those sheep were for.

Find out more in today's Christmas story video.

The Scripture I refer to in today's video is Luke 2:8. Here is that verse with the surrounding context:
