Remember the story of Ruth in the Old Testament book of the Bible by the same name? When Naomi's two son's died leaving both their young wives widowed, and Naomi chose to return to Israel, both daughters-in-law went with her for a ways. But then Orpah turned back. But Ruth clung to Naomi, went to Israel with her, and was blessed by God for her decision.

Again today we are going to listen a video from The Jim Bakker Show as Jonathan Cahn talks about where we are living right now in history. He is giving reasons we can believe and know we are living in the Bible's most prophetic times ever in the history of the world. "Most prophetic times" means we are witnessing the culmination of all the Bible's prophecies coming to pass.
OMG. There is so much information in this video you will just have to watch it for yourself. It runs a little longer, at 9:30 minutes. But it's so good and is so filled with history and information I'm sure you'll want to schedule time to watch it.

So what is happening right now? We are living currently right now today in a Jubilee year. Jonathan Cahn says a Jubilee year is a "super Shemitah" -- it only comes every seven Shemitahs, while Shemitahs themselves only come every seven years.
What happens in a Jubilee year?
Whatever you lost you get back. Lost your home? You get it back. Lost possessions? You get them back. Are you Jewish and you lost your family's ancestral land in Israel? You get it back. This is the instructions God gave to Israel. It is a mass restoration.
Could this scheduling of the Shemitah tell us when the End Times events will play out? Jonathan Cahn says yes and explains why. (Tweet that!) Here's just a taste of what's in the video:
The year 1917 was a year of shaking -- all over the earth. The Jewish people had not been in the land of Israel since before the time of Jesus. World War 1 is on the horizon.
Then Jonathan Cahn relates the amazing story of General Allensby and why the Islamists retreated at the sound of his name!
Also in 1917, a boy was born. His family moves to Jerusalem because of the Jubilee. He grows up and becomes the head Rabbi Shomo Goren.
Fifty years later comes the second Jubilee - 1967. Mr. Cahn tells the miraculous story and timing of the Six Day War in Israel. Rabbi Shomo Goren is now 50. It's his Jubilee. It's Israel's Jubilee. As Israel takes back the city and enters Jerusalem through the Lion's Gate, Rabbi Goren blows the shofar and it is echoed throughout the land. The shofar much be blown in a Jubilee year. There so much more to this story in the video!
Now, today, it's another 50 years later and we are in another Jubilee year. And you don't think things are going to happen?! (Tweet that!)

Americans will also be interested in how the Liberty Bell and the Bible verse from Leviticus 25:10 engraved on that bell matches this story. (Tweet that!)
And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, when each of you shall return to his property and each of you shall return to his clan. (Leviticus 25:10)
I've always said something important will happen in Israel in 2018. (Tweet that!) I believe that because the Bible determines a "generation" to be 70 years (Psalm 90:10), although obviously some individuals can live longer. Jesus' prophecy says "this generation will not pass away until all these things take place" (Matthew 24:34). Israel was re-born (back in the land) in 1948. Seventy years, or a generation, later is 2018. That generation (70 years) the youngest of which were born in 1948 shall not all pass away means all these things have to happen before that generation passes away -- which, if a Biblical generation is 70 years, will pass away in 2018.
I agree with Jonathan Cahn and Jim Bakker. We have so many reasons to believe we are living in the most prophetic times of human history. (Tweet that!) We are literally seeing the Bible's prophecies coming true and more prophecies setting up to come true.
"California Gov. Jerry Brown has signed a bill that orders faith-based organizations to refer women to abortionists," according to the WND.com article "California Forces Christians to Disobey Own Beliefs" dated 10/12/2015.
Jim Bakker recently talked about that with Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn on The Jim Bakker Show. The video below shares a couple minutes of that conversation.
Jonathan Cahn talks about our nation racing toward apostasy, which means a "falling away" from the Christian faith. Apostasy is also an End Times prophecy in the Bible. (Tweet that!) At the same time, he says, Christians are being targeted more and more, with evil trying to force Christians to take part in abomination. (Tweet that!)
Jonathan Cahn relates what we are seeing in our day to the early church which the Roman government tried to force to take part in abomination.

I just found this video, which was posted September 24, 2015, which is after the Shemitah. It has some quotes from a September 12, 2015, article WND.com did with author and Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn which were posted that same day, according to the video from the Jim Bakker Show.
Jonathan Cahn related two events that occurred on September 10 and 11, 2015. (Tweet that!) I did not know about either until now but I find them very interesting.
I'm actually linking to only part of this video (the second part) because there are numerous topics discussed in this short video and I'd rather separate them out and discuss them one at a time. So I'll share a link to more of the video in my next post.

Today, I'd like to share a recent video with Jonathan Cahn as he gives an answer to those who are wondering why "nothing" happening on the Shemitah September 13, 2015. (Tweet that!) He has an important message to share.

Personally I think there was a lot going on in the world connected to the Shemitah -- it just wasn't in the headlines saying anything like, "Stock Market Crashes on the Shemitah"! (Tweet that!) But there were headlines nonetheless, and as the results and realities become visible, I'll share them as I find reputable commentary.
There's been a lot of talk about the Shemitah. Some say nothing happened, yet $11 trillion in global stock market wealth was wiped out during the third quarter of 2015.
The magazine talked to expert on the Shemitah, Jonathan Cahn, to follow up on the Shemitah:
Cahn says. "As the Shemitah began approaching its last phase in the summer of 2015, the markets of the world began collapsing. In a short space of time, the Shemitah wiped away a stunning 40 percent of the Chinese stock market. Toward the end of August came "Black Monday" and stock market collapses all over the world. In two days, Wall Street had collapsed 888 points."
A friend shared this video with me and I thought it was a great follow up to the Shemitah. This is Sid Roth's show, "It's Supernatural." His guest for the show is Messianic Rabbi Johnathan Cahn, author of the The Mystery of the Shemitah.
I thought it was a great conversation and recap of the information we've been exploring here on the blog for the past year regarding the Shemitah. Of course there is a lot more new information, including info on the Jubilee year. (Tweet that!)

This video is rather long -- it runs 1 hour and 16 minutes. But I'll tell you, the time went by fast! Because it's so interesting. You can probably end after the first hour and not miss much. There's a lot of content in the final 15 minutes that makes me uneasy and I don't really subscribe to.
(Disclaimer: While I'm posting this on my blog, that does not mean I agree with everything Sid Roth teaches, for example that everyone should pray in tongues and, while I do believe God can heal anyone, I think it can be dangerous to imply people will be healed by certain people or by, for example, holding a certain book. I'll leave those parts to your discernment.)

Having already taught about the 9th
of Av, and not knowing what, if anything, might happen concerning Israel today,
I wasn't sure what to share for today's post.
Two weeks ago, WND.com published a major
article regarding the upcoming Shemitah, and it seems fitting to share that
with you today. (Tweet that!)
On July 12, WND.com posted an exclusive interview
article with author and Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn. (Tweet that!) We've talked about Mr. Cahn on this blog and I've
shared bits of his work from his books The Harbinger and The Mystery of the
Shemitah.
When the article posted on July 12th, we were
about 60 days out from the Shemitah coming this September 13, 2015. Obviously
now we are closer to that event – only 7 weeks away. (Tweet that!)
But of course I can't resist sharing a few
bites of the article here to whet your curiosity. Here's part of the opening:
This year on Sept. 13, the Shemitah
reaches its peak on the last day on the Hebrew calendar, Elul 29, known as the "day of nullification." All debt and credit were to be wiped away on this day
as described by author Jonathan Cahn in his New York-Times bestseller, "The
Mystery of the Shemitah," published in September 2014.
But the Shemitah can be a game-changer not
only for economies and stock markets but also in geopolitics.
Jonathan Cahn says that the Shemitah shakes

from him and more from the article:
"What we are watching now is a massive
destabilization throughout the world – from ISIS, to the war in Syria, to the
collapse of Greece, the collapse of the Chinese stock market, the destabilizing
of the European Union, the issue of nuclear weapons and Iran, the moral and
spiritual transformation of America, the deterioration of relations between
America and Israel, and more," Cahn told WND.
In the financial realm, the markets have been
expanding since 2009. Cahn believes the Shemitah, if it follows its pattern of
the past two seven-year cycles, will bring a shaking in the financial realm
first.
And regarding recent events in the United

"The Shemitah also can mean 'the fall.' And we are watching the greatest, most rapid moral and spiritual fall in
American history," Cahn said.
Mr. Cahn went on to says this regarding the
June 26 U.S. Supreme Court decision:
"This is a pivotal event with colossal
ramifications, and one that draws America one step closer to judgment."
There are many more interesting comments from
Jonathan Cahn in the article which you can read. Here is the conclusion of the
article:
America is heading for judgment. Whether
that judgment entails a stock market collapse, a collapse of the dollar, or
something further down the road that is even worse, Cahn is also praying that
the individual Christians that make up the body of Christ in America will get
right with God and repent of their sins.
For judgment always starts "in the house of
the Lord."

This week we've been talking about the Isaiah 9/10 Effect as
defined by author Jonathan Cahn in his book The
Harbinger Companion with Study Guide:
The attempt of a nation to defy the course of its
judgment, apart from repentance, will instead set in motion a chain of events
to bring about the very calamity it sought to avert. (page 68).
We've also been talking about what might happen if America
does not repent and turn back to God. (Tweet that)
In the previous post we talked about the coming Shemitah on September 13, 2015. (Tweet that!)
Two weeks after that Shemitah, the final "Blood Moon" total
lunar eclipse takes place on the Feast of Tabernacles which is September 28,
2015. (Tweet that!)
There is a lot of debate about the meaning, if any, of the
Blood Moons. (Tweet that!) Even some churches won't talk about theses lunar eclipses on
important Jewish holidays. I think that's tragic.(Tweet that!)
Why are churches keeping their own people in the dark? (Tweet that!) I believe they will have to answer to God about why they would not allow
their people to be informed. This is why I'm so passionate about getting the
word out so as many people as possible can hear about this. (Tweet that!) I'm asking you to help me spread the word if
you will.
I don't claim to know what it all means. But I am absolutely
convinced it all means something! Beyond that it's all speculation. But let's
speculate.
Could the final blood moon be the final date of when we, the
United States of America, can turn back? (Tweet that!)
Are we already set on our course and there is no turning
back? (Tweet that!)
Here's what I truly believe: We could turn back. And God
would forgive us and set us on a course of redemption. But that will not
happen. (Tweet that!)
Why do I say that will not happen? Because I see zero signs
of turning from our current course.
Without turning, we are headed straight into the "very
calamity it [that is, our nation and its leaders] sought to avert" by becoming
strong without God. (Tweet that!)
I hope our nation will turn away from its current course of
defying God and turn back to God. But I simply don't think that's going to
happen. (Tweet that!)
In previous posts we looked at the Isaiah 9/10 Effect, and
that it means that if a nation tries to defy the course of its judgment without
repentance and turning back to God, it will instead set in motion a chain of
events to bring about the very calamity it sought to avert (Jonathan Cahn’s The Harbinger Companion with Study Guide, page 68). (Tweet that!)
What will happen if we, the United States of America, do not turn around and turn back to
God?
Beheadings are happening in the Middle East. Persecution of Christians seems to be increasing. What's to stop that from
coming here – to the United States? (Tweet that!)
What we do know for sure, though, is that the Shemitah is coming. In his book, after author Jonathan
Cahn defines “the Isaiah 9/10 Effect,” he goes into what happened six days
after the 9/11 attacks on America. (See “Six Days After,” The Harbinger Companion with Study Guide by Jonathan Cahn page 69.)
In Jonathan Cahn's book, The
Harbinger Companion with Study Guide, he talks about a "paradoxical or
ironic dynamic" about the Bible's prediction in Isaiah 9:10. Mr. Cahn calls
this "the Isaiah 9/10 Effect." (Tweet that!) He defines this Isaiah 9/10 Effect
as this:
"The attempt of a nation to defy the course of its
judgment, apart from repentance, will instead set in motion a chain of events
to bring about the very calamity it sought to avert" (page 68).
Notice the author's words "apart from repentance." (Tweet that!)
Repentance means making a u-turn. Repentance means stopping
going in one direction, ceasing to do what is wrong, plus turning around and
going another direction.
The United States of America is heading straight into this
Isaiah 9/10 Effect. (Tweet that!)
We are heading there. Like it or not.
Because there has been no repentance. I see no sign of
repentance. Do you?
Can we still be redeemed? Yes.
But will we be redeemed? I see no sign of turning. (Tweet that!)
It could happen in a day.
What will happen if we do not turn around and turn back to
God?
For the past few weeks we've been exploring the prophecy in
the Bible verse Isaiah 9:10 and its connection to the events in America on
9/11. I can't help but notice the reference number of the Isaiah verse.
I don't know, it just seems to be shouting to me that 9:10
is a warning that came just before 9/11. What do you think? (Tweet that!)
How do you feel when you hear leaders who do not know God or
do not respect or reverence Him enough to study His Word quoting the Bible? (Tweet that!) It makes me perk up. I don't know if I should be nervous or excited
because I know God is paying attention. But at the very least it makes me pay
attention. (Tweet that!)
God was using these leaders. He was using them for His own
purposes. Without their knowledge. Unwittingly. (Tweet that!)
And God was doing so in order to tell us something. (Tweet that!)
Only those who are tuned in will hear Him. Only those who
are willing to look into it when we hear the Word of God being spoken – no
matter who speaks it. (Tweet that!)
What can we learn? Here are a few thoughts:
We must know the Bible. We need to recognize when someone
is speaking from it. (Tweet that!)
Then at the very least we must be willing to look into it
when we hear someone quoting the Bible. We must be willing to check out the
context. (Tweet that!) What is it really saying? Then, what is it saying in the
context of the uninformed or ill-informed speaker?
We must be paying attention, engaged, listening. So many
people seem to have tuned out. It's time to reengage. (Tweet that!)

Who do you know who needs to be engaged? Could pointing them
to this blog help?
In the April 30th post here, we witnessed U.S.
Senator Tom Daschle quote the vow in Isaiah 9:10 on the floor of the United
States Senate on September 12, 2001, the day after September 11th
attacks. (Tweet that!)
Then in the May 2 post we saw U.S. Vice Presidential
Candidate John Edwards repeat the Bible prophecy in Isaiah 9:10 on the third Anniversary
of September 11, 2001. (Tweet that!) In fact, Mr. Edwards built his entire
speech around that Bible verse.
The Bible does not recommend that there be only one witness in
any matter. Instead it requires a minimum of two witnesses with three being
even better. If U.S. Senate leader Tom Daschle was the first witness of America's
defiance against God, and if U.S. Vice Presidential candidate John Edwards was
the second witness, was there a third? (Tweet that!)
Remember that Isaiah 9:10 in essence refuses to admit that
God is giving a warning and instead vows to rebuild and to emerge strong than
before the attack. (Tweet that!)
One month after his first inauguration, President Obama
appeared on Capitol Hill in the same place where Tom Daschle had spoken the day
after 9/11. On February 24, 2009, after the American economic collapse, the

But while our economy may be weakened and our
confidence shaken, though we are living through difficult and uncertain times,
I want every American to know this:
We will
rebuild.
We will
recover.
And the
United States of America will emerge stronger than before.

Last week we looked at the actual physical, geographical
location of where our nation, the United States of America, was founded and we
learned that the very place where America was dedicated to the One True God was
a little stone church called St. Paul’s Chapel.
That church, which still stands
there today, stands on as well as once owned all the land that has become
known as Ground Zero of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. (Tweet that!)
But there’s even more. Look at what happened to the "foundation of America" according to Jonathan Cahn in The Harbinger Companion with Study Guide page 115:
It was in Federal Hall, New York City, that the
American nation as we know it came into existence. It was on its balcony where
Washington was sworn in as the nation’s first president. It was there in its
chamber where Washington gave that prophetic warning. Today, in New York City,
on Wall Street, facing the New York Stock Exchange, stands a statue of
Washington. The inscription on the pedestal reads as follows:
On this site in Federal Hall, April 30, 1789, George
Washington took the Oath as the First President of the United States of America
On that founding day, the two sites, Federal Hall and St.
Paul’s Chapel (Ground Zero), were joined together. On September 11, 2001, the
two sites were joined together again. When the twin towers fell, a shock wave
moved from Ground Zero to Federal Hall, putting a crack in its foundation—in
America’s foundation—the place where Washington’s prophetic warning was spoken
as to what would happen if the nation ever turned away from God.
