In this video legal and financial expert Michael Snyder gives a lot of information about banks and companies that are now labeled "too big to fail," a snarky or sarcastic label that came about following the U.S. government's financial bailout of super-large companies,.
As Michael Snyder reminds us, Jonathan Cahn never said to watch only one day -- the day of the Shemitah. Michael Snyder explains in previous Shemitahs some effects happened 30 days later or more, which we are at now following the most recent Shemitah. (Tweet that!)

Again today we are going to listen a video from The Jim Bakker Show as Jonathan Cahn talks about where we are living right now in history. He is giving reasons we can believe and know we are living in the Bible's most prophetic times ever in the history of the world. "Most prophetic times" means we are witnessing the culmination of all the Bible's prophecies coming to pass.
OMG. There is so much information in this video you will just have to watch it for yourself. It runs a little longer, at 9:30 minutes. But it's so good and is so filled with history and information I'm sure you'll want to schedule time to watch it.

So what is happening right now? We are living currently right now today in a Jubilee year. Jonathan Cahn says a Jubilee year is a "super Shemitah" -- it only comes every seven Shemitahs, while Shemitahs themselves only come every seven years.
What happens in a Jubilee year?
Whatever you lost you get back. Lost your home? You get it back. Lost possessions? You get them back. Are you Jewish and you lost your family's ancestral land in Israel? You get it back. This is the instructions God gave to Israel. It is a mass restoration.
Could this scheduling of the Shemitah tell us when the End Times events will play out? Jonathan Cahn says yes and explains why. (Tweet that!) Here's just a taste of what's in the video:
The year 1917 was a year of shaking -- all over the earth. The Jewish people had not been in the land of Israel since before the time of Jesus. World War 1 is on the horizon.
Then Jonathan Cahn relates the amazing story of General Allensby and why the Islamists retreated at the sound of his name!
Also in 1917, a boy was born. His family moves to Jerusalem because of the Jubilee. He grows up and becomes the head Rabbi Shomo Goren.
Fifty years later comes the second Jubilee - 1967. Mr. Cahn tells the miraculous story and timing of the Six Day War in Israel. Rabbi Shomo Goren is now 50. It's his Jubilee. It's Israel's Jubilee. As Israel takes back the city and enters Jerusalem through the Lion's Gate, Rabbi Goren blows the shofar and it is echoed throughout the land. The shofar much be blown in a Jubilee year. There so much more to this story in the video!
Now, today, it's another 50 years later and we are in another Jubilee year. And you don't think things are going to happen?! (Tweet that!)
OMG again. There is so much information in this video you just HAVE to watch it! Very interesting history of Israel and true stories you did not know!
Americans will also be interested in how the Liberty Bell and the Bible verse from Leviticus 25:10 engraved on that bell matches this story. (Tweet that!)
And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, when each of you shall return to his property and each of you shall return to his clan. (Leviticus 25:10)
I've always said something important will happen in Israel in 2018. (Tweet that!) I believe that because the Bible determines a "generation" to be 70 years (Psalm 90:10), although obviously some individuals can live longer. Jesus' prophecy says "this generation will not pass away until all these things take place" (Matthew 24:34). Israel was re-born (back in the land) in 1948. Seventy years, or a generation, later is 2018. That generation (70 years) the youngest of which were born in 1948 shall not all pass away means all these things have to happen before that generation passes away -- which, if a Biblical generation is 70 years, will pass away in 2018.
I agree with Jonathan Cahn and Jim Bakker. We have so many reasons to believe we are living in the most prophetic times of human history. (Tweet that!) We are literally seeing the Bible's prophecies coming true and more prophecies setting up to come true.
I just found this video, which was posted September 24, 2015, which is after the Shemitah. It has some quotes from a September 12, 2015, article WND.com did with author and Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn which were posted that same day, according to the video from the Jim Bakker Show.
Jonathan Cahn related two events that occurred on September 10 and 11, 2015. (Tweet that!) I did not know about either until now but I find them very interesting.
I'm actually linking to only part of this video (the second part) because there are numerous topics discussed in this short video and I'd rather separate them out and discuss them one at a time. So I'll share a link to more of the video in my next post.

In my previous post I shared comments from Jonathan Cahn, Messianic Rabbi and author of The Mystery of the Shemitah, following up after last month's Shemitah on Sunday, September 13th. These quotes came in an article at CharismaNews.com.
Today, I'd like to share a recent video with Jonathan Cahn as he gives an answer to those who are wondering why "nothing" happening on the Shemitah September 13, 2015. (Tweet that!) He has an important message to share.

This video was posted to Youtube by a user called "The Cutting Edge 2." I'm a bit surprised I couldn't find it on Jonathan Cahn's official Youtube channel and I wonder why he wouldn't have it on his own page. Perhaps I'm not using the right search terms and simply didn't find it.

Since the Shemitah on Elul 29 on the Jewish or Biblical calendar took place, which corresponds to Sunday September 13th on our calendar, I've been waiting to hear some commentary from what did -- or did not -- happen. (Tweet that!)

Personally I think there was a lot going on in the world connected to the Shemitah -- it just wasn't in the headlines saying anything like, "Stock Market Crashes on the Shemitah"! (Tweet that!) But there were headlines nonetheless, and as the results and realities become visible, I'll share them as I find reputable commentary.
There's been a lot of talk about the Shemitah. Some say nothing happened, yet $11 trillion in global stock market wealth was wiped out during the third quarter of 2015.
The magazine talked to expert on the Shemitah, Jonathan Cahn, to follow up on the Shemitah:
Cahn says. "As the Shemitah began approaching its last phase in the summer of 2015, the markets of the world began collapsing. In a short space of time, the Shemitah wiped away a stunning 40 percent of the Chinese stock market. Toward the end of August came "Black Monday" and stock market collapses all over the world. In two days, Wall Street had collapsed 888 points."
A friend shared this video with me and I thought it was a great follow up to the Shemitah. This is Sid Roth's show, "It's Supernatural." His guest for the show is Messianic Rabbi Johnathan Cahn, author of the The Mystery of the Shemitah.
I thought it was a great conversation and recap of the information we've been exploring here on the blog for the past year regarding the Shemitah. Of course there is a lot more new information, including info on the Jubilee year. (Tweet that!)

This video is rather long -- it runs 1 hour and 16 minutes. But I'll tell you, the time went by fast! Because it's so interesting. You can probably end after the first hour and not miss much. There's a lot of content in the final 15 minutes that makes me uneasy and I don't really subscribe to.
(Disclaimer: While I'm posting this on my blog, that does not mean I agree with everything Sid Roth teaches, for example that everyone should pray in tongues and, while I do believe God can heal anyone, I think it can be dangerous to imply people will be healed by certain people or by, for example, holding a certain book. I'll leave those parts to your discernment.)

As the Shemitah begins this very
evening, and as we see so many different crises happening all over the world,
and as we read articles like the one I posted Tuesday and watch videos like the
one I shared Thursday, it's easy to feel anxious, get disturbed, or be downright
frightened. (Tweet that!)
So I want to remind you that
if you are a Christian, you are not supposed to be fearful. Rather, you are to
trust Jesus, who is God Himself, to take care of you. And He will. (Tweet that!)
This is training. This is
happening to train you to trust Him. For the Christian, that's what it's all
about. (Tweet that!)
If you are not a Christian, you
can become one right this instant by simply telling Jesus you have sinned
against God, you accept Jesus' sacrifice on the cross to pay for your sins, and
you want to be His forever more. (Tweet that!) Then ask Him to show you what to do and teach
you how to live. That's it.

words from Jesus:

Jesus says: "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

A friend shared with me this list of 33 things that will
happen in September 2015 compiled by blogger Michael Snyder.
It includes many events we've been talking about here on the
blog, including the Shemitah day (on September 13th, next Sunday),
the partial solar eclipse on that day (next Sunday), and the fourth and final
(of the current tetrad of four) total lunar eclipses on major Jewish holy days.
But this list also includes a bunch of other events. Some of
these events I was aware of such as the Pope's visit to the United States. Some
I was vaguely aware of – I heard something about a large meteor headed our way?
Others are new to me, such as the agenda of the United Nations and something
about the Hadron Collider? (Tweet that!)
Anyway, I thought you'd find this article interesting so I'm
sharing it. (Tweet that!) But let me warn you…this blog has far more scary overtones than I
try to have here. I try to let you know the facts and encourage your faith in
Jesus to carry us through whatever is coming. I hope to build in you triumphant
faith, trusting Jesus to hold us in the palm of His hand. (Tweet that!) This blog I'm sharing
is much more dooms-day-ish. After all, the blog is called "End of the American
Dream."

Since August 13, we've been
looking at some of what author Jonathan Cahn lists would be manifestations of a
Shemitah judgment in America. While we’ve been looking at what might happen,
what it would look like in the physical realm, what is the point of all this?
Why would God do this? What’s it all FOR?
In his final item on his lengthy
list, author and teacher Jonathan Cahn, in his book The Mystery of the Shemitah, writes this (page 243):

"…will touch not only the
financial and economic realms but every realm of society and life."
Again, this encapsulates the heart
of the Shemitah, what the Shemitah is all about. It's about resetting, about
bring a people of God back to God. (Tweet that!) It's about letting things fall if they are
not in line with God. It's about setting things right. (Tweet that!)

In the previous post we were
talking about how author Jonathan Cahn writes a Shemitah "judgment will make
clear the link between America's physical and material realm and that of the
spiritual." We talked about how there is always a connection between the
physical and the spiritual.
I find the nineteenth statement on
Jonathan Cahn's list (The Mystery of the Shemitah, page
242) to be closely related:
"The judgment will manifest
as a sign against a nation that has driven God out of its life, rejected His
ways, and pursued material blessings and idols in His place."
In addition to the recent
legalization of same-sex marriage and long-ago legalization of abortion,
another thought this one brings to mind is America's educational system – from
pre-school to the highest levels of our educational system.
I keep hearing about how text
books and curriculum have changed American history to teach no mention of God
in events such as the first Thanksgiving. Christians in our history are vilified,
even though most of our founding fathers were indeed Christians, held God the
Father and the Lord Jesus Christ in highest regard, and actually formed our nation to honor the One True God of the Bible. (Tweet that!)
Of course there are many other
areas where America, starting at the top with the leaders, followed by
Americans who are strongly influenced by those leaders, have driven God out of
our nation. (Tweet that!)

In my posts here since August 13, we've been talking about
some of the items author Jonathan Cahn listed on pages 240 – 243 in his book, The Mystery of the Shemitah, that would take place in a
Shemitah judgment. For me, this item
he lists brings it all together. This is what it's all about. This is the heart
of it all:
"The judgment will make
clear the link between America's physical and material realm and that of the
spiritual."
There is always a connection
between the physical and the spiritual. (Tweet that!)
For example, when Jesus spoke to Nicodemus about being born spiritually and starting an eternal spiritual life
with God, He related it to physical birth. Yet those are two different things: this temporary physical life and the eternal spiritual life.
Another example is the miraculous
healings Jesus performed when He walked this earth. These obviously had a
physical manifestation for the recipient of the miracle, but it also had a
spiritual counterpart. The miracle was intended to bring many people into an
eternal, spiritual relationship with God, not merely give a temporary physical
healing that would only last until the death of the person.
Therefore, the entire point of the
Shemitah is to make clear the link between what happens in the physical world
with the spiritual realm. In other words, the choices made in Americas in the
physical world have consequences in the spiritual world.
Furthermore, these choices affect
many more than the individuals who make them. (Tweet that!) Individual Justices on the Supreme
Court have made decisions and put into effect physical realities that affect us
all – such as effectively legalizing same-sex marriage. Another example is the
legalization of abortion in 1973.
However while the Justices made
these decisions, even against the wishes of many if not most Americans, we
will all suffer the consequences. (Tweet that!) You may not think there are consequences, but
there are. And they are taking place in the spiritual realm and will manifest in the physical realm. (Tweet that!)
In a Shemitah judgement, these
will be seen clearly. (Tweet that!)

In several posts now, we've been
taking a closer look at the list of manifestations author Jonathan Cahn wrote in
his book, The Mystery of the Shemitah, that
would take place in a Shemitah judgment. On page 243, Jonathan
Cahn wrote:
"The judgment will alter the
landscape of nations and powers."
The very next manifestation Cahn
lists is this:
"The judgment will involve
and affect the rise and fall of great powers."
At first the landscapes I thought
of were "political landscapes," meaning the political powers we see in the
world today. (Tweet that!) His next statement, the rise and fall of great powers, seems to
confirm that.
But upon further thought, I
wonder, could it be literal landscape? By that I mean, of the land? Could the
landscape actually be altered, as in a large earthquake? (Tweet that!)

Author Jonathan Cahn, in his book,
The Mystery of the Shemitah, at the bottom
of page 242, wrote this of a Shemitah should it manifest as judgment in America
and beyond:
"The judgment will wipe away
physical realities."
The first thing that came to my
mind when I read this was, "Like the Twin Towers."
In my previous post I also talked
about a possibility I can see happening: the shaking of the U.S. Supreme Court
Building because of the judgments this court has made and imposed on the people
of the United States, including but not limited to:
Legalizing abortion in 1973.
And effectively legalizing same-sex marriage across all 50 states this past June 26, 2015.
The author may have meant more
than physical buildings, perhaps including the physical realities of money in financial
accumulation. But physical buildings is what came to my mind, bringing the image and the example
of the World Trade Center twin towers in New York City which were wiped away on
September 11, 2001. This led to the financial fall two Shemitahs ago. (Tweet that!)
