Discover Bible Prophecies Fulfilled in Jesus' Death & Resurrection through Easter Moments -- Shrove/Fat Tuesday & Easter Countdown Day 40

Today is "Fat Tuesday," that day celebrated weirdly in New Orleans.

It's also knows as "Shrove Tuesday."

Also, for Catholics and others who observe the Lenten season, Lent begins tomorrow with Ash Wednesday. (Tweet that!)

It's also another anniversary. In a sense (though not on the calendar), this Bible Prophecies Fulfilled blog is a year old. I started blogging last year on March 2, 2014, just before Shrove Tuesday and the beginning of Lent. I started this blog with a series of 40 posts -- one each for the 40 days of Lent. Most of these posts focused on a Bible prophecy that was fulfilled in the Easter story, that is the arrest, trials, crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus. (Tweet that!) The rest of these posts -- from Day 10 to Day 5 -- discussed the series of "Blood Moons" (tetrad of total lunar eclipses) and their spiritual and prophetic significance.

Because those prophecies and how they were fulfilled continue to be eternally relevant, and because their fulfillments should serve to strengthen our faith for today as we see how God takes care of those who belong to Him and orchestrates everything that is happening on the earth, I felt it was worthwhile to revisit those posts this year for Easter. I'm calling it our "Easter Moments." (Tweet that!)

Even though you may not observe Lent, I believe taking a little time out for Easter Moments each day from now until Easter will help us prepare for and make our Easter more meaningful, in the same way the Advent season helps us prepare for Christmas. (Tweet that!) I don't know about you, but for me the days and weeks can spin by so fast it's easy for holidays and holy days to come and go and I hardly notice or celebrate them. (Tweet that!)  I believe God gave us holidays to slow us down. To cause us to reflect on their meanings. To enjoy. To rest. (Tweet that!)

I've realized in recent years that I need to make a special effort to do that. To  s l o w   d o w n.  (Tweet that!)

Reflect.

Enjoy.

Rest.

After today, I will continue with my usual post about Bible prophecies we are seeing fulfilled today at the top and then add the Easter Moments links at the bottom. Lent is a 40-day countdown to Easter which counts only 6 days per week, excluding Sundays because as Christians attending church worship services we are already celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Sundays. (Tweet that!)

Since I regularly post to this blog three days each week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, I can post two links for the Easter Moments countdowns on each of the three weekly posts.

You can read them both...or read one and come back the next day to read the second one.

Please note that the 3rd of the four "Blood Moons" or total lunar eclipses will take place on Saturday April 4, which is Passover. That will be Day 1 of our Countdown to Easter because the next day, Sunday, is Easter. (Tweet that!) The Day 10 through Day 5 posts on these "Blood Moons" total lunar eclipses will again be significant and timely as we approach Passover and this Blood Moon #3 of 4. You see, it all goes together.

May our fire for the Lord Jesus Christ -- who is God Himself come in the flesh -- be reignited (or ignited for the first time) through the study of God's Word and the prophecies fulfilled in the death and resurrection of Jesus. (Tweet that!)

Bible Prophecy meets Islamic Prophecy, the Kaaba, and the Black Stone – Video Post

Today's video has a lot of information that was new and interesting to me. (Tweet that!) I'm not sure that I think they have everything right. For example, I'm not sure the Islamic Black Stone housed in the Kaaba will be the Abomination that causes desolation (see Daniel 11:31, 12:11, Matthew 24:15, and Mark 13:14 as well as the Related Articles listed at the end of this post). I've always thought that Abomination would the Antichrist himself setting himself up as God in the Temple in Jerusalem.

Still, I was amazed at some of the new things I learned and new thoughts introduced in this video (Tweet that!) so I wanted to share it with you.

There is also information on Islamic prophecy and how it runs along side with Bible prophecy. (Tweet that!) I've been learning a lot about this lately and it is so fascinating to see how evil has twisted the Bible prophecies for evil's purposes. (Tweet that!) I hope to share more on that topic with you soon.

Check out this Red Heifer born in Texas. Is it connected to Bible Prophecy? – Video Post

Okay, today's video is going to be fun. (Tweet that!) I know some people are going to laugh and mock this one. But still…

Check out these two calves that have been born in September 2014. The black and white one was born on or around September 20, 2014.

The red calf was born on September 25, 2014, which was the first day of the Jewish New Year, that's day #1 of the Shemitah year. (Tweet that!)

This video is an interview with the owners of the red calf by the Jim Bakker Show and discusses why these calves may hold significant meaning and might be connected to Bible prophecy.

The video mentions Genesis 41 where Joseph interprets Pharaoh's dream of seven healthy cows born followed by seven sickly cows. (Tweet that!)

When I saw the title for this video, I thought it would be something different. Every so often I hear of the Red Heifer and rumors that the one prophesied in the Bible may have been born. If you don't know about this, there is a need for a perfect Red Heifer in order to open and dedicate the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem. (Tweet that!) But "perfect" means it must have only a small number of hairs of a different color. With a large white "7" on its forehead, I knew this calf couldn't possibly be that one. (We should talk about that prophecy another time.) 

So I thought that's what this video was about when I clicked on it. Boy was I surprised. It was something quite different. 

But I still thought this video was fun and interesting as it talks about these two calves born recently, on or near a significant date connected to Bible prophecy, with the number 7 unmistakably on their foreheads. (Tweet that!) See what you think.

Overview of the Lunar Eclipses Connected to Bible Prophecy, Shemitah, More - Video with Mark Biltz

I've been having fun reviewing recent videos from leading prophecy teachers talking about the Lunar Eclipses (Blood Moons) that are connected to Bible Prophecy, the Shemitah, and many other topics. I found some I'd like to share with you this week. (Tweet that!)

Today's is an episode of Sid Roth's "It's Supernatural" show. He interviews Mark Biltz, whom we've mentioned many times here on the blog.

Sid Roth asks Mark Biltz how he discovered the tetrad of lunar eclipses and about previous tetrads. (Tweet that!) They talk about the Shemitah, the current series of three Shemitahs and what has occurred in America on the day of the past two Shemitahs (Tweet that!) ...leaving us to anticipate what might happen this coming September 13, 2015, on the next Shemitah day. (Tweet that!)

This video was posted recently, on January 29, 2015, but it must have been recorded earlier, before the most-recent lunar eclipse (Blood Moon) on October 8, 2014, because the advertisement running asks what will happen on that day, as if it has not happened yet. Still, unless you've been keeping up with all this information I believe you'll find new interesting information in this interview.

This video runs 29 minutes. Please know it has brief interruptions with commercials, but you can skip those after the first few seconds. I'm sure these are helping pay the way for Mr. Roth to create more interview videos, so I hope you won't mind those.

What will Life be Like After the 4th Lunar Eclipse? - Amazing Worldwide Event #4 in 2015 Linked to Bible Prophecy

So here's the big question I'm sure is on everybody's mind: What will life be like after these events of next September -- the Shemitah and the 4th lunar eclipse? (Tweet that!)

And what will happen on the Shemitah on September 13, 2015?

We can see what happened on the previous two Shemitah's in 2001 and 2008, which I described in the January 15th post, 2015 Amazing Worldwide Event #3 Linked to Bible Prophecy: The Coming Shemitah in September. To recap, on those dates the stock market fell 7%. So will that happen again? That's the big question.

My answer? At this point I don't see any reason there won't be a repeat, and perhaps even a greater, more devastating fall than 7%. (Tweet that!)

What could prevent that devastation? A national turning back to the one true God of heaven by the United States of America. But I don't foresee that happening. (Tweet that!)

I see the United States continuing its path away from God -- the Judeo/Christian God. We have many leaders who do not believe we are, ever have been, or should be a Christian nation – even though the historical record clearly shows this nation was founded as a Christian nation, prayed over to be a Christian nation, and until recently was lead by people who believe in it being a Christian nation. (Tweet that!)

But now we have many leaders who want America to be a led by a different god, or at least multiple gods who are all believed to be equal. This is an affront to the One True God. (Tweet that!)

Many more of our leaders don't seem to be able to lead enough of us to counteract that.

 So we have the stronger leadership in the United States leading us in a wrong direction. And we have a complete lack of leadership in the right direction. This is creating a "perfect storm" that will lead to America's downfall. (Tweet that!) If nothing changes. And I foresee nothing changing.

I see America in a spiral downward and I am very pessimistic about our future, especially as a powerful leader for good in the world. (Tweet that!)

I believe our current leadership is leading us, willfully, into globalism which means powers in the rest of the world will rule America. (Tweet that!)

I also believe this is coming more rapidly than most people comprehend. (Tweet that!)

And I believe all of these "signs in the heavens" that I've been writing about on this blog, in order to alert and educate as many people as possible, are signs that something is coming. (Tweet that!) Something huge. Something world-changing. It's already in motion and there is no stopping it.  (Tweet that!)

And so what will life be like after the Shemitah? I don't know. What does a world look like after a major financial collapse in the United States that cascades throughout the world? Will our cash money be any good? Will it buy anything? Food? Fuel? Will there be anything to buy? Will food and fuel be rationed? Will there be medical/health care?

Will this lead the world to a point – whether then or later – when everyone will be forced to have a card or other biometric device in order to buy anything? That would be the fulfillment of Revelation 13:17, would it not?

The "it" in this passage is the person known as the Antichrist:

Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666. (Revelation 13:16-18)

And then, only two weeks after the Shemitah with the partial solar eclipse, comes the fourth total lunar eclipse in the series of four, the fourth and final of the four "Blood Moons."

And so we come to this post's real question:

What will life be like after the this fourth and final lunar eclipse? (Tweet that!)

What do you think? As we stand outside under the night sky watching this fourth lunar eclipse, will our lives be vastly different from what they are today? Will they be like what I just described above?

If something major is going to happen, how might we prepare? What is our best preparation?

Some people are stocking up on all kinds of supplies. This is not wrong nor a sign of unbelief or lack of faith. However the best preparation any of us can make is to "stock up on" or strengthen our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our help, our supply, our everything we will ever need. (Tweet that!)

So where are you in your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ? The best answer is: know Him and growing my knowledge and understanding of and faith in Him.

In Jesus Christ is the only safe place to be now as well as during and after the Shemitah and the 4th lunar eclipse next September. (Tweet that!)

Where the 4th Lunar Eclipse Will be Visible - Amazing Worldwide Event #4 in 2015 Linked to Bible Prophecy

You will be able to see this #4 total lunar eclipse in the series of four from most of North America, South America, Europe, west Asia, and parts of Africa. (Tweet that!) 

There's one fact about this total lunar eclipse compared to the #3 eclipse in April that I find fascinating. (Tweet that!) While both eclipses will last near the same about of time from beginning to end, there's a large difference in the amount of time the moon will be totally eclipsed -- called the "totality" phase.

From beginning to end, the eclipse will last:

  • 3rd Lunar Eclipse in the tetrad, April 4, 2015:  3 hours and 29 minutes
  • 4th Lunar Eclipse in the tetrad, Sept. 28, 2015: 3 hours and 20 minutes

The moon will be totally eclipsed (totality):
  • 3rd Lunar Eclipse in the tetrad, April 4, 2015:  about 5 minutes
  • 4th Lunar Eclipse in the tetrad, Sept. 28, 2015: about 1 hour and 12 minutes
I'm sure there's a scientific reason for this having to do with the positions of the earth and moon. Is there a spiritual reason? (Tweet that!) For example a longer extension of time in totality being relevant to how dire the warning is? (Tweet that!) Or possibly relevant to how much closer we are to...whatever is going to happen next? (Tweet that!) Remember this is the fourth and final of these four total lunar eclipses.

I don't know any answers to these questions, but it's interesting to contemplate.
