Muslim Hajj 2015
This past week images of the three major religions in the world have dominated the news media as each held extremely large gatherings just days before the fourth and final Blood Moon on the Jewish holy day of the Feast of Tabernacles (or Sukkot). (Tweet that!)

Muslims Gather for Hajj at Mecca, Saudia Arabia

Millions of Muslims embarked on the Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca every Muslim male who is able is required to do at least once in their lives. (Tweet that!) Unfortunately there were two tragedies during this Hajj: A crane fell into a crowd killing over 100 people on September 12, 2015. Then on September 24th many Muslim pilgrims stampeded, killing hundreds. At first the dead counted beyond 700. Yesterday news reports said the number dead  in the human stampede at the Muslim Hajj climbed to over 1,100.

Tens of thousands of Israelis attend the communal repentance prayer at the Western Wall on Monday, September 21, 2015. (Tweet that!) This was the last repentance prayer before Yom Kippur, that is the Day of Atonement, 2015. You can see and hear them singing in this video:

Catholic Christians Gather as Pope Francis Visits the United States

Then Pope Francis left Cuba and arrived in the United States on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. He was welcomed by President Barack Obama in Washington D.C. on Wednesday September 23rd. Hundreds of thousands of Catholics turned out to see him as he visited Washington, New York, and Philadelphia, leaving to return to Rome on Sunday, September 27th, just hours before the fourth Blood Moon (of this tetrad) occurred just after sunset that evening. (Tweet that!)

It has been an amazing week of religious events throughout the world, involving the three largest religions in the world. It's as if God is writing Himself into the headlines. (Tweet that!

  1. I was there in Israel during Yom Kippur... Jerusalem was closed. Hence we went to the Wailing Wall a couple of days after Yom Kippur... That is the beauty of Shemitah in my life - we could visit Israel 😊

    1. That sounds amazing, Shanthi Diana. What a beautiful thing to do. You mean the entire city of Jerusalem was closed?! For the holy day? For security? I can't imaging. But glad you got to visit the Western Wall later.

  2. Why Religions Are Awaiting Blood Bath Of Religious Conflicts To Consume Humanity For Falsehood Of Religious Self Glorification ??

    1. Sorry, Sushil, I'm not really following what you mean. But I do believe Islam is looking for a blood bath as they attempt to wipe out all Jews and Christians. This is evidenced by the killing of many Christians and, in just recent days, the beheading of children who would not denounce their Christian faith by ISIL. Christians and Jews do not behave this way. In fact our religion forbids murder. It does allow self defense. Islam promotes murder of anyone who is not a Muslim. So yes, a blood bath may be coming as Islam pushes forward and Jews and Christians defend themselves against this aggression.
